Our 2010 was also awarded a silver medal at the Visy 2014 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.
The Great Australian Shiraz Challenge is regarded as one of Australia's most prestigious and valuable wine awards. Now in its 20th year, this year's event attracted almost 400 entries from over 60 regions across Australia. The Challenge is a unique opportunity for Australia's premier red winemakers to showcase their Shiraz.
The organisers commented on the strong competition particularly from McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley. Chairman of the judges, Gary Baldwin said "The best Shiraz wines should exhibit good primary fruit, as well as balance and suppleness but ultimately, must be eminently drinkable".
